Exclusive Group of Companies is seeking a full time experienced Florist/Event Designer to work in a busy retail/events design company in Bermuda at our two locations.
• The position entails a quick imaginative person who has the ability to perform the following: hand tied bridal bouquets, vase arrangements, wedding flowers and event centerpieces. Candidates must speak fluent English, and be confident in dealing with clients face to face and on the phone. Applicant must have a certification in floristry Level 3 and a minimum of 5 years experience in the creative field, especially in, event concept and floral design.

Tasks:

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Meet with clients to gain an understanding of their expectations and the scope of the event
• Present and promote event concept and design to clients, when appropriate
• Provides design direction and communicate details of production to event teams and vendors, to ensure product implementation is executed at the highest level

REQUIREMENTS
• Certification in floristry
• A minimum of 5 years experience in the creative field, especially in event concept and design
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, creative ability, and willingness to do ‘whatever it takes’ to achieve the project objective
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure
• Exceptional organization, communication and project/time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Able to work overtime, nights and weekends
• A floral certification is required for this position of Level 3 and above.

Tasks:

• Conditioning of flowers

An exciting position has become available within the Nikki Tibbles Wild at Heart Floristry team, we are looking for an experienced Florist with strong managerial experience and excellent customer service skills to manage and oversee our beautiful Wild at Heart flower shop within iconic department store, Liberty.

Tasks:

Floristry
• In-house liaison between Wild at Heart and Liberty
• Preparing orders for delivery and collection.
• Creating beautiful bouquet ranges to fit the WAH aesthetic
• Designing bespoke bouquets for customers and Liberty.
• Liaising with our main suppliers at the flower market, ensuring we receive the best flower options and secure pricing to meet specific targets and profit margins.
• Managing all ordering for Liberty stock and object
• Processing orders through Shopify

Managing a Team
• Overseeing and managing a small team of florists based at Liberty
• Overseeing bouquets made by the team - ensuring the correct flowers are being used, sizing is accurate, and pricing is precise to ensure no flower wastage.
• Taking customer orders accurately with careful attention to detail over the phone, in store and by email.
• Dealing with customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Booking and liaising with delivery partners – DPD, Addison Lee, Pearl
• Managing and coordinating our internal delivery drivers
• Opening and closing the concession as part of a team including cashing up.
• Supporting florist management team with monthly staff rotas

Job Role-

Day to Day:

Must have exceptional Management skills. Can take full control of Events from start to finish. Purchase order Flowers from Miami ahead of events. Create budgets. Manage teams and delegate tasks.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
