Junior Florist, Relais Borgo Santo Pietro​

Job description: Florist required for Italian adventure!

Situated in the heart of Tuscany, Relais Borgo Santo Pietro is a luxury 5* boutique hotel and spa, featuring 20 individually styled rooms and suites, a Michelin starred restaurant and elegant Trattoria, a holistic spa, an onsite cooking school and natural skincare laboratory, all set in 13 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens.

We are looking for a junior florist to join our team, creating fabulous flowers under the Tuscan sun.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years hands on, practical floristry experience.
  • NVQ/C&G qualification or similar
  • An adaptable, hard-working attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure. 
  • Creative flair, a passion for flowers and a genuine desire to learn and improve within the industry.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good level of spoken and written English.
  • Be organised, presentable and happy to work as part of a team.
  • The right to live and work in the EU.

A valid drivers license and confidence to drive in Italy would be a plus but not essential!

The role:

  • Maintaining all the arrangements in the common areas, bedrooms, spa and restaurants.
  • Providing flowers for special events, dinners and client requests.
  • Providing bespoke flowers for weddings of all sizes, from intimate elopements to full villa rentals. 
  • Leading flower lessons for guests, one on one or in a small group.

Job Description: Rhubarb and Bramley are a family run business, we offer a full florists service including flowers for weddings, funerals & other occasions, corporate clients and Event Hire. With 2 bases in Carshalton & Dorking high street, we are right in the heart of Surrey. We have a team of experienced florists on hand to create the most stunning flower arrangements. As an experienced floral designer, your main responsibility of this role will be to keep Rhubarb & Bramley growing artistically through new floral creations and designs. You'll also be reporting to the Shop Manager. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Designing unique, artistic and creative floral designs for all occasions
  • Assisting in creating and executing floral installations for weddings and events as well as floral displays for high end hotels and restaurants
  • Keeping up to date with new ideas and concepts in the floristry industry and maintaining extensive product knowledge, including the seasonal availability of flowers and foliage.
  • Managing the workflow of floral designing to ensure on time delivery of orders or projects

  • Advise customers on the care, maintenance and handling of various flowers and foliage, indoor plants and other products.
  • Maintain, care and water plants, condition and clean flowers and foliage for storage.
  • Price and sell merchandise including giftware in our retail store(s)
  • Order or purchase supplies, materials or equipment instructed by Shop Manager.
  • At all times, keep your workplace clean and tidy
  • Merchandise and stock take on a daily basis.
  • Assist in office and retail service duties as required.

Essential skills: 

  • Highly skilled in all aspects of floristry with a great attention detail
  • Capable of creating everything; from hand ties to flower walls
  • A creative and passionate individual, who is keen to develop new designs and ideas and produce bespoke artistic designs
  • Strong IT skills, Microsoft Office programmes and emails
  • A good level of customer service and sales skills experience with retail customers, corporate customers and wedding/event customers.
  • Ambitious individual who is desires to grow within the business

Full-Time Floral Design Manager​, Endura Roses​

Job Description: Reporting to the Managing Director and serving as a member of the Management Team, the primary responsibility of this role is to keep Endura growing creatively through new product development, whilst heading up our team of floral designers. 

The role: As an experienced Floral Designer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing interesting floral products and gifts that are commercially viable for our online store and retail store(s).  
  • Assisting in the creation and execution of bespoke floral installations for luxury weddings, private celebrations and corporate events, as well as bespoke floral displays for premium retailers, hotels and restaurants. 
  • Attending annual trade shows looking for new innovations, finding new and interesting concepts, identifying new trends and conducting regular competitor analysis.
  • Managing the workflow of the floral design to ensure on-time delivery of every product and every project is achieved.
  • Engaging the floral design team through regular training and development, coaching and on the job learning.
  • Assisting with photo shoots and PR events. 
  • Merchandising product to reflect the season and maintain visual standards within our retail store(s).

Full-Time Florist, Hiding in the City Flowers

Location: Walthamstow/Leyton, London (E10)


Job Description: 
This role has two main elements – practical work and office support. Practical work will involve building and installing flowers for weddings and events, as well as some small ad hoc orders. This will include project managing the build and installation of smaller weddings and events, and supporting the lead project manager on larger ones. 

The office side of the role has a variety of administration and organisational aspects:

  • Document management – managing insurance and health and safety documents prior to any offsite events; weekly scheduling of all rotas for freelancers; maintaining freelancer directory; development of pricing guide for internal use only; maintenance of photo library.
  • Business planning and development – contributing to event planning, pricing/sourcing and strategy.
  • Marketing and PR - providing support around requests for input from PR contractors; updating marketing materials, including liaising with designers and printers; maintaining database of contacts and stakeholders covering media, industry contacts, venues, planners etc
  • Website and social media - monthly blog writing covering trends, predictions, things happening in London; maintenance of webshop; weekly Social media planning and engagement across Pinterest, LinkedIn and Twitter using core list of stakeholders. 
  • Weddings and events - responsible for taking the lead on quoting, designing and planning of smaller weddings and events; assisting and acting as second project manager in managing large scale events; sourcing and purchasing vases and props for weddings and events.

This role is intended to be 5 days a week with cover sometime falling over weekends.

3 years floristry experience and a full clean driving licence are required.
