Our client contracts, events and weddings are truly breath-taking and we bring a vast wealth of experience to make every aspect of site design, landscaping, event creation and floral artistry, original and stunning.

An exciting position has become available within the Nikki Tibbles Wild at Heart Floristry team, we are looking for an experienced Florist with strong managerial experience and excellent customer service skills to manage and oversee our Wild at Heart flower studio and operations.

Tasks:

Floristry

  • Preparing orders for delivery and collection.
  • Creating beautiful bouquet ranges for our online shop.
  • Designing bespoke bouquets for VIP customers.
  • Leading on changing our online collection for seasonal e-commerce shoots.
  • Hosting flower classes – from large groups, to one-to-one classes, organising the ordering, scheduling, pricing where required.
  • Liaising with our main suppliers at the flower market, ensuring we receive the best flower options and secure pricing to meet specific targets and profit margins.
  • Managing all ordering for online and shops – incl. accessories and plants
  • Managing and working with ecommerce and marketing team to manage stock count through the back-office
  • Processing orders through Shopify

Managing a Team

  • Training and nurturing florists to ensure the brand aesthetically looks the same across all three locations – The Turquoise Island, Liberty and WAH Studio.
  • Overseeing bouquets made by the team - ensuring the correct flowers are being used, sizing is accurate, and pricing is precise to ensure no flower wastage.
  • Taking customer orders accurately with careful attention to detail over the phone, in store and by email.
  • Dealing with customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Booking and liaising with delivery partners – DPD, Addison Lee, Pearl
  • Managing and coordinating our internal delivery drivers
  • Opening and closing the studio as part of a team including cashing up.
  • Managing monthly staff rotas

Other

  • Attending weekly head office management meetings (via zoom/call) – reporting on customer feedback, ensuring relevant action points are adhered to and providing business updates to the wider team when needed.
  • Assisting on shoots (internal & external) with Nikki Tibbles, where required.
  • Proactively suggesting ways to ensure a smooth running of operations

Experience:

  • 5+ years customer service experience (essential)
  • 5+ years retail floristry experience (essential)
  • Must be available for peak periods such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Christmas (essential)
  • Managerial experience (essential)

Wedding and event floristry experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Team Player

An exciting position has become available within the Nikki Tibbles Wild at Heart Floristry team, we are looking for a Junior Florist to support in our busy Wild at Heart shops and Wild at Heart flower studio.

Tasks:
  • Conditioning of flowers
  • Advising customers in person, over the phone and via email with queries/flower suggestions
  • Creating beautiful arrangements and hand ties to WAH brand aesthetic and standard
  • Packaging of flowers ensure a high standard of presentation
  • Stock rotation
  • Daily paperwork e.g. end of day reports
  • Daily upkeep of the studio and shops
  • Liaising and booking internal and external couriers for customer deliveries
  • Supporting head office staff with ad-hoc requests

Experience:

  • Minimum 1+ year floristry experience
  • Retail experience
  • Good seasonal flower knowledge and care
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Confident communicator
  • Plenty of stamina
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Efficient, able to work to tight deadlines
  • Creative background preferable, but not essential
  • Good phone manners
