39 hours a week Monday to Saturday (one afternoon off during week). Extra hours during peak and when necessary.

Must have minimum NVQ Level 2 , but prefer level 3.

Will help with accommodation, but its cheaper to live over the border in Spain (La Linea).

Working for one of London’s top florists you will be delivering our beautiful bouquets across central London.

The role will require you to work closely with the teams in each store, planning your delivery route and communicating back to the store manager.

Every day is different and some early starts and market runs along with weekend work will be required.

  • Project management: Managing events from initial enquiries through design and planning, producing visual proposals and quotes, to implementation, including working on site during evenings and weekends as appropriate.
  • Designing and quoting: Designing installations for events, contracts and Christmas, working to client briefs and budgets, whilst considering the desired profit margins and maximising budgets, as well as managing the staffing and logistics for these installations.
  • Business development: Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities and bringing in new contracts and events business. As part of this the successful candidate will be expected to work on business development strategy, produce marketing material and work on new business tenders, organise regular photoshoots for use on the website, in proposals and tenders, on social media and for general marketing purposes.
  • Buying to budgets: Calculating flower and foliage requirements for contracts and events, ordering and buying online or from the flower market.

I am looking to assist in a florist, flower studio or school. I have recently relocated from South Africa where I was an owner and shop manager. I have more than 17 years’ experience in retail floristry management. Well –versed in managing, guiding and supporting personnel, creating effective floral projects and visual merchandising. I am passionate and business orientated with excellent floristry knowledge.

I was actively involved in Interflora Africa Area’s first as a committee member then a district representative and later chosen for the board of directors.

I participated in the national Florist training program for level 1 and Level 2 and won a first place award for a Florist choice competition. I assisted with the training of new florists and demonstrated for floral workshops.

I have a good financial accounting knowledge paired with a creative balance. Through the years I have developed the capability to assess customer needs and expectations and to then manage and deliver accordingly.

I am willing to travel into London if needs be and am available on short notice. I am experienced in all aspects of floristry, fast learner and adapt to any role.
