Recruitment open for four Non-Executive Directors to join CGMA Board

Recruitment is now open for four Non-Executive Director roles to join the Board at the Covent Garden Market Authority (CGMA).

CGMA is a public statutory corporation, established to provide and run a bulk horticulture wholesale market. In partnership with Vinci St Modwen, CGMA is rebuilding the iconic market on its existing site. The future vision is of a flourishing, modern wholesale market for London alongside a new cluster of food-related businesses.

The time commitment is expected to be 2-3 days per month, with monthly Board meetings held at the CGMA’s offices in Nine Elms, Vauxhall. The daily rate for each Non-Executive Director will be £520. Reasonable travel expenses are also paid.

Board appointments are made by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra). Applications are now open and close at noon on Monday 10 February. The panel will view applications on Tuesday 19 February, with the final interview date held on Thursday 5 March.
