When it comes to 'decking the halls' this Christmas, you'll be really spoilt for choice at New Covent Garden Market! As well as festive flora and fauna, you'll also find seasonal plants and sundries in abundance.
Whether it's traditional red Poinsettia plants, glitzy baubles, real Christmas trees, metallic spray paint or ready-made door wreaths, you'll find them all plus much, much more at Nine Elms in the run-up to December 25th. Flowers
Such a quintessential Christmas bloom, the Amaryllis. And there are boxes of several different varieties including Mont Blanc pictured below at DG Wholesale Flowers. Also look out for Ambiance, Ferrari, Liberty, Loyalty, Desire and Royal Velvet.
Wraps of red and white Anemones, Tulips, Roses and Ranunculus for your hand-tieds are in plentiful supply, as well as beautifully scented British Narcissi.
Ilex verticillata can be found at several of our flower wholesalers and in differing lengths. As well as the traditional red variety (of which some wholesalers have a glittery version!), there are also several types in alternative colours to red including Winter Gold and Golden Verboom.
Foliage
For something a little bit different, how about this Painted Cupressus, which is available at Porters Foliage? It'd be great for adding texture, movement and a pop of colour to arrangements.
Head to the sales desk at Porters and you'll be greeted with Asparagus Fern in a spectrum of colours ranging from white, teal blue, purple, green and gold to silver, copper and platinum.
That's where you'll also discover a big selection of virtually every type of painted and glittery Birch Twig possible. From red, white, purple and silver to gold, rose gold, platinum, pale blue, orange, and black!
At both of our specialist foliage wholesalers, GB Foliage and Porters Foliage, there's fresh festive greenery in lots of different guises.
Trolleys are overflowing with cut Blue Pine, Sugar Pine, Scots Pine, Douglas Pine, Kiefer, Cupressus and Cupressus arizonica. Ready-made Blue Pine Wreaths in a range of different sizes are also available, together with ready-made garlands.

Have you ever come across these Phoenix Palms before?! At over two metres high, you'll find them towering over the Zest Flowers stand. Wouldn't they add an incredible touch of drama to a Christmas event?
Real cut and potted Christmas Trees ranging in height from 3ft-20ft, can be ordered from several traders.

Plants

Head to L Mills, if you're on the look-out for homegrown Cyclamen to brighten up outdoor spaces. They have so many different colours available!
Sundries
At this time of year, the Flower Market certainly surpasses itself when it comes to the huge range of different sundries to celebrate the yuletide season, all available under one roof. You'll find them not only at our specialist sundries wholesalers, Whittingtons and Lavenders of Covent Garden, but also at some of our flower, foliage and plant traders.
At Zest Flowers, for instance, as well as wreaths and pine cones aplenty, you'll also find velvet star tree decorations, diamante hedgehogs, owls and polar bears. And of course, deer! If you have any questions about festive stock, make a beeline for Luke, who'll be able to help.
