Background

During the autumn months, many different types of rose hips, berries and seed heads are available at Nine Elms from both the flower and foliage wholesalers.

You'll find rose hips in a range of stem lengths, varying from short which are suitable for hand-tieds to those much taller that are perfect for pedestal designs.

On the seed head front, there's scabious, crocosmia, agapanthus and poppies. And berries wise, look out for viburnum, celastrus and callicarpa.

Plus there's an amazing assortment of foliage with berries including arbutus also sometimes referred to as strawberry tree, eucalyptus, juniper, ivy, phytolacca and cotoneaster.
