Autumn Events

Summer still has weeks to run but already we are planning for Autumn and our next series of events in the Buyers' Walk.

Monday 6th September we will be hosting a Fresh Produce Masterclass for visitors to the Speciality Fine Food Show.  After a tour of the market, visitors will have breakfast, the opportunity to meet suppliers and then settle down for a series of interactive discussions with retailing gurus.

We believe that independent retailers are vital to the supply of food in London and beyond and this event is squarely aimed at supporting and promoting those businesses.

Wednesday 8th September NCGM will host a meeting of the Association of London Markets, bringing together traders, operators and all those interested in London markets, wholesale and retail.

The agenda will include issues such as the work of the Government’s Cross-Departmental working groups and the London Local Authority Act.  It will also be an opportunity to share best practice on matters like managing waste and promotion of markets.

Early doors Thursday 16th September will be our British Food Fortnight Launch. This will be a special breakfast for Market buyers and sellers with a chance of scooping some big prizes.

The breakfast will be from Red Tractor products so why not come along and enjoy a burger on us?

Thursday 30th September will round off British Food Fortnight with a special VIP Red Tractor Breakfast.

As well as delicious food and sparkling company it will be an opportunity to discuss key issues around sourcing seasonal and regional produce from the Market.
