We spoke to Lisa Meek, Linkclass’s Managing Director about their home deliveries.

Can you tell us a little bit about your customers?

Linkclass supply London’s vibrant hospitality industry and Oxford University. We are also proud to supply some of London’s well-known hospitals, ensuring our key workers are receiving the best of fresh produce throughout these difficult times.

Now, we are delighted to supply our incredible fresh produce to London’s homes, free from subscriptions, with pick-your-own options or fixed boxes.

Any festive seasonal produce in your boxes that is in season and special?

Love them or hate them, Brussels sprouts are in season and are a great winter vegetable, high in vitamin C and which can help to lower cholesterol.

They are sure to top our tables in the coming months. For something, a bit different, try Red or Rubine sprouts, which produce attractive purple-red buttons that retain their colour when steamed and also have a mild flavour. We know you just love them! Well, a bit like Marmite!

Do you have a nice, uplifting story about your home delivery business and the people behind it?

When the Lockdown hit and so many of our hospitality clients were forced to close, it was a wonderful experience to see our staff come together and rally. We started the home delivery service immediately and I am so proud to see such team dedication in all areas.

Do you have a testimonial from your customers about the home delivery boxes?

Our home delivery customers show how pleased they are with their produce, by placing repeat orders, many are now on a first name basis with my staff. Placing orders via telephone: 020 7498 5200 or email: sales@linkclass.co.uk several times a week.

It was wonderful at Halloween, when many customers sent us photos of their decorated pumpkins, which we had sent in their orders!

We are an independent British company, based in the iconic fruit, vegetable and flower market, New Covent Garden Market. I would like to thank all our commercial and home delivery customers for choosing us.
