I’m a food journalist who loves markets and getting up early – perfect for this job! Over the years, I’ve written for The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, Financial Times and others, and reported for The Food Programme (Radio 4).

My other life is as a teacher, working in primary schools and as a horticultural trainer - helping people of all ages to grow and cook their own food.
