Background to SEEDS
In 2011, SEEDS carried out a survey with over 70% of businesses based in New Covent Garden Market (Fruit and Vegetable Wholesale, Wholesale Distribution, Flower Wholesale and Other Food Businesses).
Six key areas of business support came up:
- More presence on the internet
- Promotion to new customers
- Better communication with current customers
- Better IT systems
- Better staff training
- Support with tendering for new business
SEEDS offers a variety of services to help meet these needs as well as wider business support.
