Job title: Shop Manager

Job description: We are looking for a dedicated shop manager for our busy Hackney shop. This role is to manage the florists, schedules, training where necessary and to take responsibility for keeping the shop fully stocked, tidy and looking great alongside creating our unique floristry. You will manage the customer service email, shop orders and drivers. You will report weekly on the spend and profit of Brick Lane and Hackney.

You will have experience of working in retail and have great customer service skills. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for working with us and to get stuck in with a great team at a really exciting point in the company.

Must have:

  • Excellent management and communication skills
  • At least 8 years of floristry management experience
  • A good understanding of our creative aesthetic and of the brand
  • An excellent knowledge of plants
  • A full clean UK drivers licence

5 days a week, may need to work weekends so please only apply if you’re happy to do this
May require working across our Brick Lane and Hackney shops when necessary.

Job title: Full-Time Florist

Job description: Based in the hub of trendy Clerkenwell, Wildabout is one of London’s leading bespoke luxury florists. We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our creative team as a shop florist. There will also be the opportunity to work occasional shifts in our studio on exciting wedding and events.

The role:

You will be based as a full-time florist in EC1. This role is predominately retail florist shop based in a full-time position. You’ll be required to work 5 out of 7 days per week as standard, and must be able to work overtime as and when the role demands. The day time shift will be 11am–7pm and duties will include making of hand tied bouquets, replying to emails, customer relations, cashing up and closing the shop. Hours will vary when required.

  • Highly skilled florist experienced in hand-tied bouquets
  • Minimum three years floristry experience in a similar London retail environment
  • Experience in wedding and event floristry
  • Command of all Microsoft Office programmes including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Willing to work early mornings, late evenings and weekends
  • Attention to detail
  • Presentable
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise work effectively
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Must have an excellent command of the English language

Job Title: Part-Time Florist

Job description: We are looking for a highly skilled florist to assist with ongoing contract and event work. The role will require approximately 2 and a half days a week. It will involve assisting in the management of large scale contract work, assisting with the management of event work, and creating lovely floristry. 

We need a very skilled and dedicated florist for this role, and at least 2 years experience in high-end contract floristry is an absolute must. A full clean UK driver's licence is also an advantage. 

The role will be mostly based in our studio in Hackney, E8. Part of the role involves early starts off site (central London). 

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and, in any event, by October.
