Specialist retailers and chefs are invited to visit New Covent Garden Market ahead of Speciality and Fine Food Fair 2010 on Monday 6th September for a Market tour and inspirational masterclasses from retail experts.
Amongst other notable experts, Nigel Chandler of Garsons Farm Shop will give demonstrations on how to make the most of fresh produce offerings and tips on the best ways to display seasonal goods.
The day will begin at 7am with a guided tour to inspect produce on the Buyers’ Walk, learn about the Market’s role as the regional hub for local produce and meet regional distributors. Gossip with fellow retailers over a Market breakfast and learn form our experts in their inspirational talks. Visitors will then be ferried to Kensington Olympia to attend Speciality and Fine Food Fair for 11am.
Ticket numbers are limited so will be offered on a first come, first served basis. The ticket cost of £15 plus VAT includes breakfast, car parking at the Market for the day and a free transfer to Olympia.
